Yesterday, Karina, Frank and I went to Children's hosp. for our monthly "clinics". Karina had vials of blood drawn to check her "antibody count". We were told we would need to wait about a week or more before we could learn the results of that test. So we are on "hold" until we learn the results. Many, many wonderful friends united in a special fast and prayer day for Karina. When we walked into the hosp. , it felt like we weren't alone. I could feel all of you dear friends with us. It was almost like you were holding our hands with us. This is a remarkable experience for us to feel so much support from so many. We do have Good news! Karina's dietician, Rose, told us that Karina's diet is fabulous as all of her levels (magnesium, sodium albumine etc) are perfect. karina told me she thinks this might be another miracle - as she doesn't really monitor her diet that closely. (I think it is a miracle that she is blessed this way and doesn't have to worry constantly about everything she eats all the time~!)
So, thank you to all of you for your sweet tender hearts as you have prayed for karina's levels to come down - we will let you know as soon as we know. . . sincerely, n~
We all unite with you in spirit and love. Thank you for letting many pray and fast for you so that 'uniting' could take place. We're glad that you are not feeling alone. With all of us, and with the many ministering angels on the other side of the veil close by, you can feel support at any time! This experience just takes one to a whole new level of love, gaining a deeper understanding of loving one another and bearing (to lift up) with one another's burdens.
ReplyDeleteYour family is so cute and fun! We love your laughter and smiles, and we look forward to seeing those smiles when we see you again ... because the news will be hopeful!
Karina- you really don't know me though you were at my wedding reception! My mom was good friends with your mom and I babysat Tyler and Cami! I am so impressed with your faith and strength through this trying time. It has been inspiring to read your blog and see how you've grown in such a little time. You have such a wonderful family and I know they are always there for you. Thank you for keeping this blog and allowing your spirit to reach out and touch others.
ReplyDeleteDear Karina, Just want you to know how much we love you! You continue to be in our thoughts and every prayer. All of the seminary youth (and youth throughout our stake) will be joining together in a special fast on Sunday. There is such strength and blessings with prayer and fasting. It increases our Faith and understanding and draws us nearer to our Savior. We are grateful for this opportunity to fast and pray for the blessings of Heaven to be poured down upon you and your family. You are a dear, sweet girl and we love you so very much!
